With the upcoming presidential elections, the issue of health insurance and care has been at the forefront of numerous candidates’ agendas. With the US Census Bureaus report on the statistics concerning uninsured Americans, Dennis Kucinich is and attempting to push for solutions to this plaguing problem.  According to the bureau, the numbers of uninsured Americans, including full-time employed individuals and children is clearly on the rise and the statistics lead one to believe that such will be the trend for years to come lest the government instills lasting changes. Kucinich is strongly urging the primary democratic candidates for the 2008 presidential elections, Clinton, Obama and Edwards to include solutions to this dire dilemma taking over the United States’ populace and leaving individuals of need with no means by which to protect them from various ailments, even those fatal.
